A new study has found that a large percentage of vehicles exhibit emissions above the Vehicle Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) limits under real driving conditions. The study calls for the use of remote sensing in the near future to complement the PUCC inspection process.
The study, conducted by the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) in collaboration with Delhi and Gurugram authorities, said that Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) tests do not reflect real-world driving emissions.
